Is this todo list app free to use?
Yes, this todo list app is completely free to use. There are no hidden fees, subscriptions, or premium features. All functionality including task creation, priority setting, categories, due dates, filtering, sorting, and data export and import is available at no cost.
Are my tasks saved if I close the browser?
Yes, all your tasks are automatically saved to your browser's local storage. When you return to the app, your tasks will be restored exactly as you left them. You can also export your tasks to a JSON file for backup and import it again later.
Can I organize tasks by priority and category?
Absolutely! Each task can be assigned a priority level (Low, Medium, or High) and a category (Personal, Work, Shopping, Health, or Other). You can also set due dates, filter tasks by their completion status, and sort by due date or priority. Tasks can be reordered using drag-and-drop functionality.
How do I reorder tasks in the todo list?
Drag a task by the handle on its left, with a mouse or a finger. On a keyboard, focus the handle and press Alt with the up or down arrow. Sorting by due date or priority changes the view without losing your own order.
Can I move my todo list to another device?
Yes. Export your tasks as a JSON file, open the app on the other device and import that file. Imported tasks are added to the list there; nothing is overwritten.
Can I undo deleting a task?
Yes. Deleting a task, clearing completed tasks or clearing the whole list shows an Undo button for a few seconds. Press it and everything comes back as it was.
